Today for the #VenuesNS, we are pleased to introduce the Republican cycle track Saryarka.
The Republican cycle track is one of the best sports facilities in the world, resembling a cyclist's helmet. The total area is 44,957 m2, which includes: a track, a rolling rink, a hotel, a restaurant, a fitness center, office space, conference rooms, a Boxing hall, a gym, a game room, and mini football fields.
The facility has a capacity of 9195 seats. The track has a wooden surface with a length of 250 meters and a width of 7 meters. For the convenience of cyclists, the track has a slope of 42 degrees on turns and 12.5 degrees on straight sections. Movement on the bike track is always carried out counterclockwise.
The conference hall of the cycle track, with an area of 297 m2 and a capacity of 204 people is the venue for official press conferences, briefings, and official meetings.
The beginning of full sports and cultural activities was the holding of the VII Asian Winter Games on the Saryarka cycle track in January 2011. After the Asian Games, the cycle track is used for various national and world competitions, as well as for sports camps. In addition, the complex can be used for concerts, cultural events, conventions, and forums.
