Today in the #VenuesNS we are pleased to introduce the «Alau» ice palace.
Alau is a world-class ice palace for competitions in speed skating, hockey, short track, and figure skating. The area of the Alau complex is more than 65 000 m2. It is one of the most visited sports facilities in Kazakhstan.
The palace arena consists of a 400-meter ice track with 7 462 seats, a panel of judges, two hockey courts - each with an area of 1 800 m2, a fitness center with an area of 4 200 sq m2, and a shooting range with an area of 900 m2. Moreover, Palace accommodates a hall for press conferences and exhibitions with an area of 200 m2 with an average capacity of 80 people.
