Today, in #VenuesNS we would like to introduce our colleagues with whom we held more than one event. Please welcome - "Palace of Independence".
The Palace of Independence was officially opened on the 15th of December, 2008. Extended infrastructure, high level of technical equipment, and quality management allow holding forums, congresses, meetings, and other arrangements occurring at the highest international level.
The total area of the palace is more than 40 000 m2 and can take up to 7 000 guests per visit. The building has 3 floors.
The ground floor is equipped for holding major events:
- Congress Hall is able to accommodate more than 3000 seats (area – 4775 m2). Because of the transformed walls, the hall can be divided into several parts to hold different events at the same time.
- Media Center has 200 seats and an area of 213.3 m2.
This hall provides all necessary equipment for the operational work of journalists and for holding press conferences;
- The banquet hall, which often serves as a restaurant for 400 people, hosts banquets, buffets, show programs;
- Conference room for 273 seats;
- Oval hall with an area of 200 m2;
- the Premium Hall with an area of 265.3 m2 and a capacity of 80 people and two negotiation rooms of 38 m2 for 8 people and 57 m2 for 12 people.
The second floor accommodates an art gallery.
The third floor is special because of the Master Plan of Nur-Sultan city till 2030, which makes an impression on visitors with a beautiful panorama.
