Mayor Altay Kulginov on his Instagram page pointed out that he receives many suggestions on the development of the capital from all social networks. Therefore, to create a fruitful environment and systemically approach proposals, the Mayor’s Office has created the “Birge” website (http://birge-elorda.kz/nur-sultan/). On this platform, any user can leave her/his suggestions and vision in different areas.
Areas in which the platform is accepting proposals are tourism, ecology, landscaping, public space, urbanism, street lighting, security, and many others.
The process of working on the platform is simple: after receiving an offer on the site, all ideas will be processed and the best ones will be implemented by the city administration. Selection is conducted by residents of the capital through a voting system that will determine the best and most necessary projects to improve the city and the quality of life of the citizens.
