Today, on 2 April a meeting on the development of tourism was held under the leadership of the Mayor of Nur-Sultan Altay Kulginov. The representatives of the local business, public health administration, and chamber of entrepreneurs, leading hotels, shopping centers, and others attended the event.

During a pandemic, businesses have prohibitive and restrictive measures related to the working hours and occupancy of premises and facilities.
The mayor of the city spoke about the anti-crisis measures provided and further ways of developing the tourist infrastructure.
To date, the Ashyq application has been launched in pilot mode to control the epidemiological situation in the city. The mayor noted that the application allows businesses to resume their activities and not endanger visitors. Earlier the President of the republic has also noted the positive effect and the need to scale this project.
Moreover, vaccination of the population plays an important role in the development and restoration of tourism and the overall economy. For large-scale vaccination and the convenience of residents, the Mayor proposed to consider the possibility of vaccination not only in city hospitals but also in shopping centers, as well as in hotels.
Large shopping facilities and hotels of the city supported this initiative of the mayor and indicated their readiness to provide premises with all the necessary conditions.
