The Henley Passport Index came out

For some people, a passport is a window for exploring new worlds, but for others, it is a barrier to the travel freedom they seek.

At the end of 2019, thanks to the work of our diplomats, holders of Kazakhstan passports can take advantage of visa-free entry to 76 countries in the world. According to the rating of the consulting company Henley & Partners, our country takes 69th place out of 199.

The Henley Passport Index is the only passport index based on IATA data, supplemented by extensive research, supported by expert comments and updated regularly throughout the year, making it the most reliable, trustworthy mean of measuring global access.

The most globally accessible passport is Japanese, which takes first place for the third year in a row. Singapore's passport is in the second, while South Korea and Germany are on the third place.

By the way, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RK, citizens of 73 countries now have visa-free entry to Kazakhstan. The minimum period of entry is for Hong Kong citizens making up 14 days, and the maximum is for most of the CIS countries, citizens of which can stay in the country for up to 90 days without a visa.
