In the new realities of the pandemic, it is essential that each industry in the travel and tourism sector develop clear and practical protocols to enable the sector’s recovery, which is more important for tour operators, given their responsibility for guests throughout the trip.
Today we officially invite local tour operators to join the global initiative #SafeTravels from the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).
The #SafeTravels compliance mark is a guarantee that the services provided by tour operators meet the requirements of sanitary and hygienic standards and safety standards of the WTTC, WHO, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) guidelines, and the regulations of the Chief sanitary Doctor of Nur-Sultan.
The goal is to ensure that there are standards for all relevant functions, with increased attention to health, that travelers will rely on to have a safe journey.
Participation is free of charge. However, it is not a certification; compliance with the WTTC Terms and Conditions is strongly encouraged.
