Today Nur-Sultan Convention Bureau started the MICE Industry training for the development of MICE professionals.
Speaker Dr. Rob Davidson the Managing Director of MICE Knowledge (London), spoke about the new realities of marketing and sales of services during the pandemic, as well as which technologies will help to revive business events.
MICE Knowledge is a consulting company specializing in research, education, and training for the MICE industry. The main areas of activity of the company are business events and incentive travel, as well as research projects for several major MICE organizations, including the Poland Convention Bureau, the Ireland National Tourism Development Authority, and the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence.
Dr. Davidson emphasized the importance of preparing high-quality workers in the MICE industry and highlighted the idea of partnerships and cooperation with higher education institutions.
Participants of the training were representatives of chain hotels, MICE agencies, business event operators, associations, companies, and universities.
At the end of the training, the Q&A session was held, where participants were able to ask questions, share common issues they face in their daily work, and most importantly, were able to get constructive advice from an expert.
Participants who will successfully complete the 2-day training will be provided with a certificate signed by the trainer.
