On September 20-22nd, the Department of Tourism of the faculty of Economics at the Eurasian National University named after L. N. Gumilyov organized and held XII Republican Student Tourism Olympiad online.
Participants of the Olympiad presented and defended projects that are relevant today, and also involved the application of SMART technology in the field of tourism. According to the representatives of a jury, the implementation of the presented projects in practice would give an additional stimulus for the development of domestic tourism in modern conditions.
:white_check_mark: The jury included the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Astana Invest - Аскар Адамбеков (Askar Adambekov). He highlighted the interesting projects of the UIB and Narkhoz University, which can be successfully implied for the development of the tourism industry in Kazakhstan.
18 universities of Kazakhstan that train specialists in the field of tourism such as the Kazakh-American Free University, the University of International Business, the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Yassawi, Karaganda State University named after E. A. Buketov, Kokshetau University named after A. Myrzakhmetova, and others applied for participation.
