A round table on "Investments in Tourism" was held in the Astana Invest office with the participation of representatives from the Creative&Innovation Institute, Kazakh Tourism, Kazakhstan Tourist Association, Association of Fisheries of Kazakhstan, and from companies Tourism Center Sevastopol, Koleso Zhizni, Solveks Group, Kiwi, Business Geometria.
Within the framework of the meeting, measures were discussed regarding the output of the tourism sector from the global pandemic. Along with that, measures to support the tourism sector in the capital were offered to the participants. It was also noted that during the period of restrictions on international destinations, the level of domestic tourism has increased. At the same time, in order to maintain the influx of tourists and increase the interest of foreign tourists, it is necessary to develop infrastructure by attracting investments.
Astana Invest develops investment proposals in such priority areas in the capital, namely: medical tourism, business tourism, trade, construction, manufacturing industry, and others.
Today there are 54 teasers that have already been developed for the aforementioned industries. It should also be noted that earlier the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan designated the tourism sector as one of the priority sectors for the development of the economy of the entire country.
Following the meeting, participants reached an agreement on cooperation in order to develop the tourist potential of Nur-Sultan city.
