In order to promote the investment and tourism potential of Nur-Sultan, Astana Invest, together with Air Astana, organized a familiarization tour (fam trip) for business representatives in the tourism sector of Turkey.
The Turkish delegation included representatives of the agency OCT Turizm MICE, Adriyatik Tourism, SKYhub/H.I.S Tourism, Gezinomi, as well as Turkish blogger Mehmet Altay. These companies provide services in the field of international tourism and are the current organizers of business events.
According to the program of the familiarization tour, the Turkish delegation presented with the congress and exhibition potential and the number of rooms of the city, the cultural heritage of the Kazakhs, as well as a meeting with local companies to establish business ties.
The main purpose of the familiarization tours (fam trips) is to promote the capital as a MICE tourism destination, as well as to raise awareness of the organizers of international events about the tourist potential of the city and to assist in attracting business events to the city of Nur-Sultan.
