Kazakhstan cancels compulsory PCR and vaccination certificates while crossing border

From June 8, 2022, confirmation of vaccination and PCR testing will not be required upon entry to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This decision was made by the interdepartmental commission on the prevention and spread of coronavirus in Kazakhstan (IAC), taking into account the stabilization of the epidemiological situation in the country.

The mandatory requirement to present documentary evidence of vaccination or revaccination against COVID-19 (passport/certificate/certificate of vaccination against COVID-19), and in their absence, a certificate with a negative result of PCR test for COVID-19 while crossing the state border of Kazakhstan will be cancelled for both: citizens of Kazakhstan and foreigners.
