Astana Invest organized a FAM trip for representatives of the MICE industry and the Mass Media of Hungary. The main aim of the trip was the demonstration of the congress opportunities and the promotion of investment and tourism potentials of Nur-Sultan to the European market.
The program of the trip, which took place from November 12 to 14, included all the congress and exhibition, tourism, and cultural facilities of the city. Hungarian delegation visited congress and accommodation facilities of the city, as well as experienced the cultural program with the demonstration of Kazakh national cuisine, customs, and folklore.
Finally, Astana Invest hosted a roundtable with the participation of the local tourism companies to exchange experiences in MICE industry development.
Kazakhstan and Hungary share common historical roots, culture, and traditions; economic cooperation in recent years has had stable positive dynamics. It is important to note that WizzAir, headquartered in Budapest (Hungary), was one of the first airlines that resumed direct flights after easing the quarantine regime.
This trip will have a positive impact on the development of economic and business partnerships between the countries and will help to increase tourist flows to Nur-Sultan.
