From December 25, 2020, to January 5, 2021, restrictive measures to be strengthened in Kazakhstan.

These results were reported at a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission (IAC) to combat COVID-19.

In this regard, the Commission made a number of decisions:

1) From December 25, 2020, to January 5, 2021, a ban will be established on the holding of entertainment, sports, and other public events, including New Year's parties and festive corporate events.

2) Restrictive measures will be strengthened at the Tengiz field until the epidemiological situation stabilizes.

In addition, measures will be taken to reduce the prices of anticovid medicines in the retail network by an average of 24%.
