Today the Deputy Director of Astana Convention Bureau, Helena Mahuas, conducted an introductory lecture for students of KAZGUU University named after M.S. Narikbayev. She introduced the Bureau: presented projects implemented and planned, the structure of the company and employment opportunities for the young generation of event industry professionals.

During the lecture, students learned what the ICCA database is, how to work with it, and how ICCA ratings affect the image and perception of the destination on the event map of the world.

In addition, Helena talked about how events affect the life of the city, shared her experience in the event industry in Europe and answered numerous questions from students about how the tourism industry works in the capital of Kazakhstan.
