Dear friends,
We are pleased to inform you that the city of Nur-Sultan has joined the global #SafeTravels initiative from the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) and received the Safe Travels Stamp.
The city's accession to the global initiative was carried out by the Tourism development department of Astana Invest of the Mayor’s Office of the Nur-Sultan city, which is the operator of the program in our city.
A distinctive feature of this movement is the issuance of the "Safe Travels" compliance mark, which allows tourists to identify companies around the world that have implemented health and hygiene protocols that comply with the Global safe travel protocols of the WTTC and the UN World Health Organization.
The WTTC introduced this form in connection with COVID-19 measures to effectively mitigate the impact of the pandemic, including a similar sign in its safety protocols, informing tourists and travel service providers about hygiene, disinfection, and physical distance, helping to optimize efforts to restore the tourism sector after the crisis.
The program operator will check the compliance of travel companies, hotels and individual accommodations, retail facilities, and entertainment venues with international safety protocols #SafeTravels. Companies that have confirmed compliance with the Protocol requirements will be able to use # SafeStamp.
