New rules for entry

Please, kindly be informed that according to the Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the following measures for passengers arriving into Kazakhstan have been strengthened.

Such as, since October 6, foreign citizens arriving into Kazakhstan from abroad are obliged to provide a certificate with a negative PCR test for COVID-19 (no earlier than 72 hours for the time of crossing the state border).

Citizens of Kazakhstan in the absence of a certificate are subject to isolation in a quarantine hospital for two days for laboratory examination for coronavirus by PCR.

These requirements apply to all countries that maintained international air traffic with Kazakhstan. The ranking of countries for international passenger flights by category is not applicable, as it was before.

Similar restrictive measures apply to arrivals through border crossing points by the railway, sea, river transport and road crossings.

For detailed advice from border service employees, Kazakhstanis and guests of the Republic can call the help service number 719-111, as well as through their Instagram account.
