Amendments have been made to the Procedure for Crossing the State Border, providing for several concessions:
- The frequency of crossing the border increased from once in 90 days to once in 30 days;
- The exceptions applied for an unlimited number of trips (traveling abroad for treatment and education, for work, for family reasons, for drivers carrying out the transportation of passengers and international cargo transportation, and in other exceptional cases);
- Allowed the departure of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan to foreign states, entry, transit passage into/through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan of foreigners from among the citizens of states with which direct air communication has been resumed without restrictions.
