The Informal Summit of the Turkic Council will gather virtually

The summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States was initially supposed to take place in Turkistan on March 31, but due to the unstable epidemiological situation with Covid-19, it decided to be held online. The theme of the upcoming summit will be “Turkistan – Spiritual Capital of the Turkic World.”

At the summit, the city of Turkestan is expected to be named as a Spiritual Capital of the Turkic World.

The Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) was established in October 2009. The official members are Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Hungary as an observer state.
