Today the International MICE exhibition IMEX 2019, which takes place in Frankfurt on May 21-23, 2019 began its work. By tradition, the Astana Convention Bureau participates in IMEX 2019 to promote the city of Nur-Sultan as a MICE destination and demonstrate the potential of the capital.

IMEX 2019 - incorporating Meetings made in Germany, The Worldwide Exhibition is one of the largest exhibitions in the MICE industry. Every year the exhibition in Frankfurt gathers hundreds of professionals of the tourism business, whose interests lie in the organization of international congresses, meetings, conferences, large-scale events and the provision of services in the incentive tourism niche. For many professionals and companies IMEX becomes the first platform to bring their services to the large German market. At the same time, the exhibition is visited by hundreds of specialists of companies that are consumers in the field of business tourism. This year more than 3,500 exhibitors from 170 countries take part in the exhibition.

The conference program of the exhibition is very rich in interesting and relevant topics, highlighting trends for the further development of the MICE industry in our capital, as well as raising questions about possible challenges and their possible solutions.

Together with the Astana Convention Bureau, our partners from different spheres: NC Kazakh Tourism JSC, SkyWay Travel and International Travel Plus tour operators, Wyndham Garden Astana Hotel, and Bohemia Entertainment event agency - are involved in the IMEX.
