On December 9, an online conference on tourism in Central Asia 2021 was held with the participation from Kazakhstan, Russia, China, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Armenia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Ukraine.

The conference was organized by the World Tourism Cities Federation – WTCF.

Chairman of the Board of Astana Invest Zhanbolat Kakishev was a speaker at the panel session "Solidarity and Cooperation for the prosperity of the tourism market in Central Asia".

Zhanbolat Kakishev shared the experience of the Nur-Sultan city in the fight against coronavirus infection, as well as in promoting and developing tourism in Central Asia within international cooperation.

However, the participants discussed further cooperation and exchange of experience with the World Federation of Tourist Cities.

The World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) is a non-profit, non-governmental international organization organized voluntarily by tourist cities of all countries and regions, non-governmental organizations, associations, and enterprises related to tourism. Currently, the WTCF includes 75 foreign cities.
