Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport has been recognized as the Best Regional Airport in Central Asia and CIS by World Airport Awards.

The award was presented to representatives of the organization in the passenger terminal of the EXPO in Paris. It is the most prestigious award in the global airport industry. Customer service and amenities in more than 550 terminals around the world are evaluated.

In the last year's report, the air passenger traffic to Nur-Sultan increased by 48%, and the number of incoming passengers increased by 18%.

It is worth noting that Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport is connected to 25 countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Great Britain, Hungary, Vietnam, Germany, Georgia, India, Qatar, Korea, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Netherlands, UAE, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Sri Lanka) by 76 routes per week.
