From March 5 to 7, 2024, Astana hosted "The IAC Eurasia Arbitration Week", organized by the International Arbitration Center in collaboration with the international law firm "Herbert Smith Freehills".

#EAW2024 gathered leading politicians, scholars, in-house lawyers, private practice lawyers, and arbitrators from around the world to discuss the latest issues and opportunities in arbitration practice in Eurasia. It is a platform that allows participants to intellectually interact, exchange ideas, and network with fellow experts from various legal backgrounds.

During the conference, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between LLP " Astana Development Center" and the International Arbitration Center of the AIFC.

The event allows for the assessment of Kazakhstan's investment attractiveness in terms of investor rights protection and positions Astana as an attractive venue for resolving commercial disputes.
