To promote the tourist potential of Kazakhstan and attract tourists from the Russian Federation, the Department of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Akmola region jointly with Astana Invest and the travel agency Kazakhstan International Tourism Organization (KITO) organized a fam trip for Russian tour operators from the cities of Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Yekaterinburg, Kurgan, and Tyumen.

According to the program of the fam trip, the Russian delegation spent one day in Nur-Sultan, having a sightseeing tour of iconic places of the capital, as well as presenting the tourist potential of the city, including accommodation and overall tourist infrastructure.

Within the results of the fam trip Russian tour operators together with Kazakh tour operators will develop new tourist products or improve existing tours, complementing them with new facilities and services.
