Kazakhstan Establishes Visa-Free Regime for Citizens of India, Iran and China

A new 14-day visa-free regime has been introduced for the citizens of China, India, and Iran from July 8, 2022.

The visa-free regime will contribute to the creation of a favorable investment climate, the activation of business contacts, and the realization of the tourism potential of Kazakhstan.

The Migration Service Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan notes that the maximum duration of visa-free stays is 42 days every 180 days.

Due to restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the previously existing special 72-hour visa-free transit regime for citizens from India and China has ceased to operate since January 1, 2021.
