October promises to be eventful.

Starting on October 1, Astana hosts the first ATP500 tennis tournament in the city's history, which takes place at the National Tennis Center of Astana.

Another sports event: Astana Marathon, is scheduled for October 9, 2022. This year there is an opportunity to choose one of two distances: 42.2 and 10 kilometers; registration is now open!

On October 12-14, "EXPO" IEC will hold Kazakhstan's largest International Agricultural Exhibition, "KazAgro-2022", which is an exhibition of agriculture and the food industry, and "KazFarm-2022" - an exhibition on animal husbandry and meat and dairy industry.

One of the most significant business events in the city will be the VI Summit Conference on Interaction & Confidence (CICA), scheduled for October 12-13, 2022.

On October 14, 2022, will hold a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Summit of Central Asia–Russia. The venue is the EXPO Congress Center.

This year's International Exhibition and Conference on Security "Kazakhstan Security Systems" will be held on October 19-20 in Astana at the EXPO Congress Center.

In addition, on October 19-21, the international Airport Expo 2022 infrastructure exhibition is planned at the EXPO IEC. Within the framework of the exhibition, The Kazakhstan International Conference "Implementation of International Flight Safety Standards and modern technologies of air Passenger service" will be held.

Finally, on October 26-28, one of the main events of the capital on healthcare – the XIX exhibition "Astana Zdorovie" is planned at the EXPO IEC. The event will host the II International Pharmaceutical Forum "GLOBAL PHARM," the II International Forum on Medical Technology "MEDTECH," as well as the I-th Kazakhstan International Exhibition "Equipment, Raw Materials and Technologies for the Pharmaceutical Industry" Pharmatech 2022.
