On February 22, 2024, the Public Fund "SILK WAY DEVELOPMENT FUND" plans to organize and conduct the I International Forum on Water Technologies and Resources "Global Water". The forum will take place as part of the I International Exhibition of Technologies and Equipment for Municipal and Industrial Water Treatment, Water Supply, Sewerage, and Wastewater Treatment "Global Water".
The goal of this event is to discuss and find solutions to water supply problems to improve the quality of life, define a strategy for water resource development, and address a number of other important water resource issues.
The forum will discuss such current and important issues for our country as:
Sustainable use of water resources and new solutions for growing risks in a rapidly changing climate;
Integrated water supply and waste disposal management, water management reforms in the Republic of Kazakhstan;
Water quality, ecosystem resources for life support and biodiversity;
Financing of water security, among other important issues.
The organizer of the Forum is the Public Fund "Silk way development fund" with the support of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Construction and Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
