Prospects of Kazakh – Turkish cooperation to the priority sectors of the economy of Kazakhstan were discussed during the meeting of the Chairman of the Board of Astana Invest Yerzhan Baltaev with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkey to the Republic of Kazakhstan Ufuk Ekiji. Among the potential areas for cooperation were education, agriculture, and medicine investment projects, as well as projects aimed at further strengthening of developing tourism and fraternal relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the project «Virtual Portal between the cities of Nur-Sultan and Ankara", which will act as a symbol of unity and overcoming obstacles between the two countries.
Yerzhan Baltaev noted the main event of this year - the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Republic of Turkey was the first country in the world to recognize the state independence of Kazakhstan.
The activities of Astana Invest the improvement of the investment climate in the capital, measures of state support for investors, as well as the “Visit Nur-Sultan” City’s Partnership Program, was presented.
At the same time, the parties discussed the possibilities of joint implementation of projects in Nur-Sultan, including holding the joint to attract foreign tourists.
