Kazakhstan is gradually resuming international air travel. To date, there are international direct flights to 25 countries on 76 routes per week. The list of countries includes Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, UK, Hungary, Vietnam, Germany, Georgia, India, Qatar, Kuwait, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Netherlands, UAE, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Sri Lanka.
From February 1, 2022, the Kuwaiti airline Jazeera Airways increased the number of regular flights on the route Almaty - El Kuwait from 2 up to 3 flights per week.
Germany’s Lufthansa plans to resume flights to Kazakhstan between the cities of Frankfurt, Nur-Sultan, and Almaty starting from February 7 with a frequency of 2 flights a week. We would remind you that previously Lufthansa was suspending flights to and from Kazakhstan until January 22, 2022.
On February 18, direct flights will open on route Baku-Aktau-Baku.
Moreover, Kazakhstan's low-cost airline FlyArystan launches new direct flights from Kazakhstan to the Russian cities. Thus, starting February 23, 2022 flights will be performed from Almaty to Yekaterinburg (once a week); from February 26, 2022, on the route from Nur-Sultan to Yekaterinburg (once a week); starting on February 26, 2022, Almaty - Omsk - Almaty (once a week).
