The tourism industry is slowly recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, and international events that were canceled or postponed are finally opening their doors to all those interested.
One of the largest exhibitions in the world, EMITT Istanbul 2022 (East Mediterranean International Tourism & Travel Exhibition) was held from 9-12 February in Istanbul, Turkey.
Eight hundred and forty-two (842) exhibitors, from 103 countries and more than 44,000 visitors last year attended the world’s fifth most important tourism exhibition.
The fair presented the country pavilions, holiday destinations, summer and winter tourism, outdoor tourist destinations, hotels and tourist centers, tour operators, travel agencies, and much more.
The main topics of the event were discussed the tourism economy, trends leading the sector, prominent destinations, and technological innovations.
