Fr om November 21 to 23, Beijing hosted the 22nd Beijing International Medical Tourism Exhibition, the largest event in the field of medical tourism in China.
The exhibition was held at the China International Exhibition Center, wh ere about 300 medical institutions and specialized centers from 60 countries and regions participated. The event was supported by leading international organizations, embassies, as well as travel and medical associations.
Special attention was given to medical tourism in Kazakhstan. The participation of Astana city in the event became part of the official Plan for The Year of Kazakhstan Tourism in China, approved by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The delegation from Astana presented the leading medical institutions of the city, demonstrating the high potential of the capital in the field of healthcare.
The Kazakh delegation at the exhibition included such leading institutions as the «Ecomed Astana» Clinic, The National Centre for Neurosurgery, The Medical Centre Hospital of the President's Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, The Kazakhstan Association of Medical Tourism and The Air Astana Airline.
Participation in the exhibition is aimed at strengthening Kazakhstan's position in the field of medical tourism and developing international cooperation in this field.
